Drive from New Delhi to Agra (approximately 3 hours)
When arriving in Agra visit the Taj Mahal which was built in the 17 th Century by Emperor Shan Jahan for his beloved wife Muntaz. The Taj Mahal a fundamental sight for all guests to India, is one of the most excellent design accomplishments. Covered in white marble sheer style and immaculate. One of the seven wonders of the world and a world legacy site. 2000 workers laboured to build the Taj Mahal.
Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed all day Friday for visitors.
After the Taj Mahal visit the Agra Fort which was built in 1565 AD another majestic creation by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The Agra Fort incorporates numerous different structures like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj where Shah Jahan is accepted to have been detained and passed on. The Agra Fort is another World Heritage Site situated along the bank of the Yamuna River in the City of Agra. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 and it one of the finest Mughal forts in India. The imposing red sandstone fort combines both Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.
You will then take a break for lunch in an airconditioned restaurant.
At sunset you will visit Mehtab Bagh another side of the river just back side view of Taj Mahal
After visiting the Mehtab Bagh you will visit the Gallery of Arts and Souvenirs from Agra City.
Drive back to New Delhi arriving at approximately 7pm and dropped back at your hotel.
